Year Long Mindfulness Trainer Program: Integration

A Year Long Experience to support you in teaching and embodying mindfulness!

This training is a year-long experience, but don't let that scare you.  

You will be able to start leading sessions as soon as you are comfortable.  Honestly- as soon as the beginning of the school year when schools are ready! 

I want you to receive support during the process, so the learning can take place while doing it.  I feel this is the best way to really integrate what you are learning, and have support. 


Another reason for an entire year is that I want you to be able to integrate and embody your own practices and experiences.  To honor the ebbs and flow of our natural cycles, and to learn more about processing and feeling uncomfortable feelings.  

The training will set you up for the following: 

  • Be able to teach and lead sessions for adults and children in mindfulness, mindful movement (yoga), somatic and embodiment practices, tapping, mindset, and more. 
  • We focus on the school setting, but you will also be able to teach for businesses, clinics, etc if you'd like! 
  • Know the ins and outs of having a mindfulness-based business
  • Understand the research on how our brains work, and how these practices can help. 
  • Fully embody your own practices in a way that suits you. Seriously life-changing on its own!!!

You will have access to the following: 

  • A framework for teaching both in-depth training and short workshops and practices for adults and children.  All done for you, yet adaptable to add your own voice. 
  • A manual for teaching adults and children. 
  • Mental Health Tools Curriculums with practices for adults and children to use and sell to schools, and make a profit on. 
  • The ins and outs of record keeping, pricing, insurance, etc for business
  • All material for the lifetime of the product - Recordings
  • Q & A sessions with me
  • Opportunities to job shadow with me
  • A support group to help you through your journey!

There will be more that shakes out.  It will truly be a practice built around what the group needs! 


You will be set up to either have your own business or be able to contract out for jobs you are interested in that I have secured.  I currently have too many schools to serve and would love to share them! My belief is the more people teaching mindfulness, the merrier! We need us all! 

The Logistics:

  • Weekly virtually meeting 30-60 min to practice, and learn.  One week off per month to integrate.  
  • Monthly in-person meeting for a little deeper dive.  These meetings will be up to a few hours.  
  • Time off for holidays, integration, etc. 

It will be a gradual flow, rather than a bombardment all at once that will really prepare you for not only feeling prepared to teach others but to have a comfortable grasp on your own practices and ebbs and flows.  Seriously, even if you never decide to formally teach others, you will have a significant change of ease within yourself that can only radiate and be modeled out to others.  

Research shows us that our nervous systems co-regulate with those around us, so even just having your own mindfulness based practices, positively affects those around you! Seriously, I fought investing in myself for so long.  There is always this feeling that we need to bring these things to everyone around us- our families, students, etc, and the more we try to force that, the harder it is.  However, when we focus on ourselves, everyone around us benefits.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education

More about Christy:

I was born a teacher. I always loved to teach others. Naturally, I entered the teaching system, taught special education, and was a reading specialist for 11 years.

I loved teaching and working with children, and I reached burnout while teaching more than once. My anxiety reached an all-time high. I was fueled by my accomplishments, so I kept putting myself deeper into my work. I was drowning.

I began to practice yoga and mindfulness. Not without much reluctance and a fight. I felt like I had no time, and seriously my racing mind HATED it. Slowing down my mind was much needed, and also SUPER uncomfortable.

However, after each session, I would feel different. I felt lighter and at ease. I had clarity, I was much more patient and kinder with my family. I was a much happier person. Life didn’t feel like it was squashing me anymore. My husband was literally begging me to go to more mindfulness and yoga classes.

I now teach mindfulness to youth, educators, and parents because it has literally saved my life. My favorite part is helping people find ways to practice that works best for them. There are so many ways to practice mindfulness!
